DESCRIPTION
The Sand Dollars is a group of diverse background RVers who enjoy traveling mainly within Florida to be exposed to many and enjoy various locations and attractions – often away from their home area. Members share in being hosts and co-hosts for monthly 3-4 day rallies during the months of October thru April. By sharing in the planning and hosting rallies, we have experienced state parks and 5- Star private parks as well as dry camping on members’ properties. We have visited small, quaint, country towns as well as enjoying activities in larger cities. In recent years we have attended concerts, jazz festivals, steeplechase races, museums, wildlife parks and much more. We don’t have rules for what is expected at our rallies – some hosts like to prepare meals, some like to have catering, others prefer restaurants, and some do a little of each. Evening games may include cards, dominos, charades, or original games – or you can just relax or turn in early at your coach. If you enjoy a variety of personalities, RVing experiences, and rally activities, we invite you to be a guest at one of our rallies and get to know us better. If there is a fit, we look forward to having you join us as a member of our chapter.
